Stas Ivanov | Director of Photography.

Born in the former USSR and now residing in the United States, Stas Ivanov’s journey into cinematography began at a young age. As a curious kid, he would secretly borrow his father’s 8mm Panasonic camcorder to capture moments around the house—planting the early seeds of a lifelong passion for visual storytelling.

Stas studied cinematography and broadcast television in Russia and began his professional career as a news photographer in the demanding Siberian market, where during the winter months, temperatures could drop below –50°C and snow could fall in June or even July. Working under such extreme conditions shaped his ability to adapt, problem-solve, and deliver under pressure—qualities that continue to define his approach to filmmaking today.

Driven by ambition, he moved to the United States alone—with no English, no family, and little money—to pursue his dream of working in the film and television industry. Over the years, he built an accomplished and versatile career behind the camera.

His body of work spans continents and genres, including broadcast, documentary, narrative film, reality television, sports, music, corporate content, dating series, and crime shows. He has worked with major television networks and thrives in both fast-paced field environments and collaborative production settings.

Stas is currently based in Central Florida and available for projects worldwide.
